She was created in December of 2012. She began as a doodle in my sketchbook as most of my paintings do. Her rich colors symbolize the contentment and joy that come from being surrounded by beauty. Emerging from the vibrant flower is serenity.
A painter of acrylic, oil, and/or mixed media, themes of feminine beauty, strength, and power have always been prevalent in Lisa’s art. Since embracing motherhood in the 90’s, the wonder of womanhood has become an even more essential part of her current pieces.
The use of bright colors and ever apparent orbs, dots, circles, and bright colors all symbolize life and joy. Universal themes of spirituality, sensuality, and beauty are expressed in her work.
